In the Spring of 2026, I took an Introduction to Video Production course at Monmouth University. Throughout the 14-week course, I strengthened my skills in ideation, directing, and video editing through the completion of four short film projects.
Acceptance
Acceptance is a short narrative film I created in February of 2026 that I wrote, directed, and edited. The film follows the story of a young woman getting accepted into her dream college, while also struggling to find someone to share her excitement with. Throughout the 4-minute film, the protagonist finds herself, her self-worth and learns that it's okay to celebrate without sharing it with others.
Lost
Lost is a short narrative film following the strained relationship of two friends, Ethan and Mason. Throughout this four-minute film, they discover that the roles they had in their friendship growing up have reversed, and they are trying to navigate this changing dynamic.
The Senior Show
The Senior Show is a documentary short following my personal journey setting up my section of the Monmouth University 2026 Art & Design Senior Show. Through B-roll, self-filmed interviews, and close-up shots, I give an in-depth retrospective on my experience preparing for this momentous occasion.
Gift Of Life
Gift of Life is a documentary short highlighting my journey as a kidney transplant recipient. This film highlights my personal sentiments, my mother's personal experience, as well as pulling in news articles that emphasize specific experiences and tie each of the narratives together.
